    KUNG FU FILM DONATION - The Museum was proud to receive a donation of
    entire original footage of the Kung Fu TV series.

    MUSEUM MOVIE NIGHT - Thanks to KungFuMovies.net and Valley Martial Arts for
    making all our continuous movie nights a success.

    SCREEN FRAME DONATION - The very cool people at Lunchbox was

PRO TAPE SYSTEMS - The Museum would like to extend a thank you to Jack

PROP DONATION - A special thank you to Gregory & Claudia Tapscott
    for the generous donation of a film reel prop for the museum. The 2 reel
    props stand over 9 feet and used in a recent film.

     4 Causes program which enabled an anonymous individual to make a significant

JAPANESE CLASS - The Museum's Japanese class hits its 1 1/2 year anniversary

PANDA MOVIE SCREENING - The first 50 current Museum Members to reply will be able

BIG SCREEN DONATION - Additional thank you goes to Moses Mudd for the kind donation
    of a big screen television, stereo system and DVD player to the museum. Yeah Moses!

   
KARATE KID DONATION - Special thanks to Kent and Carole James for the donation of
    one of the actual headbands used by actor Ralph Macchio in The Karate Kid. Kent headed
    up the wardrobe department for the film.

    SPECIAL SCREENING - A big thank you to Lion's Gate for providing 50 VIP seats for the museum
    members. Plus a Q&A from Collin Chou, one of the stars of the film and the amazing John Fusco
    who wrote the film.

    IN-KIND DONATION - A wonderful round of applause goes to a young man named Lincoln from
    Pasadena who donated a huge 3 feet x 3 feet display case for the museum. It looks great!!!!

    CHINESE NEW YEARS PARADE - Jeff Chan was kind enough to include the Museum in the L.A.
    Parade.

    SPECIAL THANK YOU - To our newest ambassador Greg Smith for donating the rental of a moving
    truck as we moved our artifacts into storage in preparation of the new location. Special thanks to
    our many volunteers who assisted us in the rain.

ANADIAN AMBASSADOR - The museum is proud to welcome Greg Smith as the museum's
    ambassador for Canada and North America.

    CHRISTMAS PARTIES -
The White Lotus school and Valencia Martial Arts rented the museum
    for the Christmas party!

    JACKIE CHAN - For the release of Rush Hour 3 DVD, his PR firm sent us 100 posters to give out
    this Saturday, Dec. 15.


    CHINESE CULTURAL DAY -
Special thanks to Supervisor Michael Atonovich for a grant for
    Chinese Cultural Day.

    SPECIAL THANKS TO JEFF CHAN - YEAH to the Eight Immortals for putting on an amazing
    performance and loaning a ton of great stuff!!!

    PACIFIC ASIAN MUSEUM -
The museum will be putting on a demonstration and talk at the
    Pacific Asian Museum in Pasadena.

    MUSEUM CEREMONY -
A very touching ceremony was conducted at the Museum with
    musical guest Chuck Butler from Parable and honoring LA City Councilman Richard Alarcon.

    JACKIE CHAN - Jackie Chan's company visits the museum. Chan will be opening
    the Jackie Chan studios just a few minutes from the museum.

    MUSEUM AT STREET FESTIVAL -
Santa Clarita Valley will be hosting their annual
    Street Festival will feature the museum. Douglas Wong's White Lotus school and
     Valencia Kung Fu school will be demonstrating for the museum.

    MUSEUM APPROVED BY SCHOOL DISTRICT - The Sulpher Springs School District has
    approved the Martial Arts History Museum for school visitation.

    MICHAEL ANTONOVICH DONATION -
Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael Atonovich makes
    a $500 donation to the Museum for Chinese Cultural events for children.

    HAWAIIAN EXHIBIT OPENED -
The first of seven planned sections is now opened and dedicated
    to its sponsor. Hall of Famer Solomon Kaihewalu, one of the primary individuals to open the
    door to Hawaiian Lua in the mainland, cut the ribbon opening "The Hawaiian Arts presented
    by Solomon Kaihewalu" at the museum.

    PUBLIC SCHOOL VISITATION - The Academia Semillas Del Pueblo charter school became
    the first public school to visit the museum.

    ALAN HORN DONATION - Many thanks to Alan Horn, Warner Bros.' president and COO, for
    his more than generous donation to the Museum through the Alan Horn Foundation this month.

    AVATAR MARATHON SURVIVORS -
Special thanks to the Williams Family who endured the
    whole marathon from start to finish of Book 1.

    SAMURAI SWORD SEMINAR SUCCESS -
draws in a huge crowd as visitors travel up to 100 miles
    to take part of learning about the history of the sword. Special thanks to Rafael Kosche.

    HAWAIIAN SECTION ADDED
- 2007 Hall of Famer Sol Kaihewalu donates Lua weaponry
    for Hawaiian section in museum. A ribbon cutting for the Hawaiian section will be announced.

    SCHOOL CREDIT FOR VOLUNTEERS - Because the museum is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization
    it is possible that high school and middle school can volunteer their time at the museum for additional
    school credit. The museum has begun logging in time for each volunteer.

    CHAIR DONATION - Special thanks to the Jewish Temple of Venice who donated 72 folding chairs
    to the museum.

    KALI DOCUMENTARY - BIG thank you to Nick Papadakis for hosting the very first seminar at the
    Martial Arts History Museum. 20 people attended the first event. Congrats Nick on making history!!!

    GRANDMASTER BONG SOO HAN - A strong supporter of the museum, GM Han sadly passed
    away a short time ago. However, we are pleased to announce his legacy will continue at the museum
    as his daughter, Sue Han, donates her father's uniform and hat from Billy Jack to the museum.

    FILIPINO SECTION - Thanks to Nick Papadakis for stepping up to the plate and represent the entire
    Filipino community by providing artifacts and weaponry to create the Filipino section in the museum.

    RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE - The Museum, along with Valley Martial Arts Supply, established a
    martial arts community blood drive. Over 50 people from various martial arts schools came to donate.

    FLOOKY'S FUNDRAISER - Thanks to Flooky's Restaurant for hosting a fundraising dinner event as
    well as placing our donation box at his diner.

    EL TORITO FUNDRAISER - A big yeah for the El Torito in Sun Valley, Ca for their assistance in
    our dinner fundraiser.
